Outside the Ducati Factory. Of course, the Ducati motorcycle company would LOVE it if ALL their employees had their bikes on display in the parking lot! If you work for Ducati, you do get 30% off on your motorcycle!
Today, Friday, October 24, 2008, in the morning, we were fortunate enough to take an English speaking tour of the Ducati factory and museum. The first thing you smell when you walk by the metal being washed is "metal." Then you see the shiny, polished metal parts. You see engine parts. Then you see all the employees working to assemble the engines, and finally, the motorcycle. A Ducati motorcycle takes 3 hours to assemble--and many workers work on each product. By the end of the tour, I want a motorcycle!
